@Kristen I dare you to go through the experience of migrating from Nest (security cameras) to Google Home.
Massive regret.
First, you must use a @gmail.com account rather than a custom domain Google Account (which we use for our family). So create a new @gmail.com account ....
Then, after completing the many steps to migrate, you need to wait a day or two for things to process through their system. Then, after this wait, you are able to log into your single Google Home account to see security cameras (awesome!). But you need to log into two separate systems to manage camera settings. The old Nest account for older cameras purchased before 2022 ... and the new Google Home account for newer cameras.
Finally, even 6 months later, the subscription to have the video recordings saved for more than 24 hours can't be purchased because "account is still being migrated."
The only thing keeping me from throwing away all Google cameras and starting with another vendor from scratch = time. So for now ... I'm in Google Home Arrest / Jail. Someone break me out!
Good stuff! Funny how the auto-captions said you like eating "Eminems." Poor Marshall. :D

Awful! Better send word to your future self to orchestrate a jailbreak for your present self!
